Week 5 - “Tenant”
It was a quarter past five when the man was subject,
to a strange pounding in his head.
He scratched and ached,
but no matter what the pain wouldn’t abate.
Soon his skull began to crack and to only add to his plight,
out dug the most alarming parasite.
It wound past his frontal lobe,
using him as the most delightful probe.
Now the man’s found a new roommate,
and things couldn’t be more great.
Ah it’s such a shame,
that it only cost him half his brain.
